Settings
The Settings page lets you configure your project’s identity, behavior, and quality standards. Here’s a breakdown of the available options:
General

Project Name
The name of your translation project. This will appear in the interface and exports. -
Description
A short description of your project and its purpose. -
Overall AI Translation Tone
A short label (max 25 characters) that guides the tone of AI-generated translations. For example: “Casual tone”, “Formal business”, etc. This will be used by AI to adjust translations to match your desired style. -
What are you building?
Choose the type of product you're working on (e.g., website, app). Will be used in the future to help personalize features and suggestions. -
Select Frameworks
Choose the technologies or frameworks your project uses (e.g., Angular, React Native). Will be used in the future to help tailor export formats and platform-specific behaviors. -
Web URL
The primary URL for your product. Will be useful in the future for linking to your project or providing context to translators.
Functionality

Enable Variable Substitution
Converts placeholder formats in imported files to a standard ICU message format, making variables easier to manage across languages. Read more about Placeholder Formats. -
Enable QA Checks for Project
Automatically detects common translation issues when saving or editing. Read more about QA Checks Includes:- Spellcheck – Highlights typos and misspelled words.
- Double Spaces – Flags extra spacing.
- Punctuation Check – Detects missing or inconsistent punctuation.
- Number of Variables Check – Ensures the number of variables matches the base translation.
