QA (Quality Assurance)
Sejhey includes built-in QA checks to help ensure the quality and consistency of your translations across all languages.
Enable QA
You can enable QA checks per project to automatically validate translations during editing. Once enabled, these checks run whenever a translation is saved and are displayed directly in the editor.
What QA Checks Do
Sejhey’s QA system detects common translation issues, including:
-
Spellcheck
Uses language-specific dictionaries (including custom ones, if added) to flag spelling errors. -
Double Spaces
Highlights extra spaces between words, which can often slip through unnoticed. -
Punctuation Check
Ensures terminal punctuation like periods or question marks match the source or follow expected patterns. -
Number of Variables Check
Verifies that all required variables (e.g.,{name}
etc.) are present and match the source string. This prevents broken string formatting at runtime.
In the Editor
When a QA issue is detected, it appears inline in the translation editor, giving translators immediate feedback. Warnings are shown near the affected text and can be clicked to view more detail.
Filtering for QA Issues
Translators and reviewers can search for all translations with QA issues in the editor by using the QA filter. This makes it easy to identify and fix problems across an entire project or language.
QA settings can be configured in the project settings.
