Glossary

Glossaries are used for consistancy in translations. When you add glossary terms, the AI tool will take the glossary term into account and use the correct term for each language. It will also be shown in the editor so that translators can see the glossary term and use it in their translations.

Examples of a glossary term​

  • Glossary Term: "User"
  • Description: "Refers to any individual using the application, including customers and employees."
  • Translation: "Utilisateur" (French), "Benutzer" (German)

  • Glossary Term: "SejHey"
  • Description: This is the company name
  • Translation: Never translate this term, always use the term "SejHey" in all languages.

Note if you add a glossary term after a translation is already created, it will not show up in the editor. You will need to re-translate the key for the glossary term to be shown. However, the AI tool will still use the glossary term when translating the key.
